(NMSBVIF)
As a land-grant school, New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NMSBVI) is fortunate to receive funding through New Mexico’s land trust each year. However, expanding enrollments and statewide programming needs have far outstripped the funding that is generated by the land trust. As a result, NMSBVI must rely on additional funding sources to support its growing programs.
As a charitable organization with 501(c)(3) status, the Foundation for the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NMSBVIF) is charged with raising the necessary funds to preserve and augment programs and services for New Mexico’s students who are blind and visually impaired. Students throughout New Mexico, from birth through high school graduation, receive training services that prepare them for adulthood.
NMSBVI is committed to all students in New Mexico in need of services related to their blindness. The Foundation is committed to identifying the resources that are necessary to make this mission a reality.
