Albuquerque Campus (ECP)

As part of continuum of services offered to children at all stages at NMSBVI, the Early Childhood Campus (ECP) in Albuquerque serves children who are blind or visually impaired between the ages of 3 and 6 from Albuquerque and the surrounding areas. Students are required to have a diagnosed vision impairment that adversely impacts their capacity to learn in a more traditional classroom. All students are placed in the program through an IEP held by the student’s resident public school system.
