Outreach Services
NMSBVI’s Outreach Department works with public, private, and BIE schools who serve students who are blind/visually impaired. Our Outreach staff are trained TVIs and/or O&Ms who are available to complete assessments and provide direct services, consultation, and training. The Outreach team also supports districts in obtaining their own TSVI through the NMSU and NMSBVI collaborative Visual Impairment Program by mentoring educators completing the coursework and internship.
